Finding a halal restaurant that's also a special night out isn't always easy around Boston. At The Treasury, all the meat we cook is halal, so the whole menu is open to you, from the tandoor to the biryani pot.

The menu is by Celebrity Chef Harpal Singh Sokhi, one of India's best-loved TV chefs, and it's built around dishes you won't find on an ordinary curry-house menu.

Is The Treasury a halal restaurant?

Yes. All the meat we serve at The Treasury is halal: chicken, lamb, goat and mutton.

Which dishes can I order?

The whole meat menu: JD Lamb Chops, Mutton Ghee Roast, Chicken Tikka Masala, Old Delhi Butter Chicken, Dum Gosht and Chicken Biryani, seekh kebabs, tandoori chicken and more. Seafood and our large vegetarian menu are naturally halal-friendly too.

Do you serve alcohol?

Yes, we have a full bar. If you prefer, ask for a table away from the bar, and enjoy our mocktails, lassis and masala chai.

Is your catering halal?

Yes. Our catering uses the same halal meat as the restaurant, for weddings, nikah and walima receptions, Eid dinners, office lunches and parties at home.
