JD stands for Jack Daniel's. The chops are marinated with Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey and our house spices, then cooked over the intense heat of the clay tandoor.
The whiskey brings a gentle caramel sweetness that meets the char and spice for a smoky, juicy chop you'll want to pick up with your fingers.
Where it comes from
Tandoori lamb chops grew out of the Punjabi tandoor tradition and became a signature of modern Indian fine dining.
Pairing them with Tennessee whiskey is our own idea: Punjab's tandoor meets Lynchburg, Tennessee. It's a recipe created in our kitchen.
