A nod to Mumbai's street food: a spiced potato patty tucked into a soft, buttery roll.
Served as sliders with a side of masala fries tossed in our Indian spice blend. Vegetarian, shareable and made for a crowd.
Where it comes from
These are inspired by vada pav, the spiced potato fritter in a soft bun that Mumbai street vendor Ashok Vaidya is credited with creating in 1966 near Dadar station. Today it's Mumbai's signature street food, and TasteAtlas has named it among the world's best sandwiches.
We serve it as sliders with buttery dinner rolls and masala fries.
